Kevin Shannon wins the Texas MPC

Congrats to Kevin Shannon, getting through the field of 29 people to take first prize and champion of the TX MPC. Scott Lingrell took second with Joe Olson and Greg Shaw following in the top 4. Complete results and more will be posted soon!

Errata to [v11] Restricted Access

We have made some changes to the V11 "Restricted Access" card due to the interactions posed by the new starting effect which allows this card to be played from under that effect.

Changes to the Tournament Guide - Effect 4/1/08

I want to thank the Tournament Committee for their work on updating the Tournament Guidelines. The team has spent considerable time gathering feedback from players and developing the updates that are intended to retain the spirit of the guidelines while providing some flexibility in growing the game.

2008 League Information

Organized Play is pleased to announce the plan for Leagues in 2008.

Leagues are intended to provide a platform for play on the local level in a less formal setting than a tournament. The key to leagues this year, is that local league directors will be able to have 100% control of the form and format of their league. We just want people to get out and play. The benefit to running an official league is that all qualifying leagues will have one Day 2 Automatic Bye to award the their league champion (champion being defined by their own system).
